In July of 2022, I bought a 1988 Toyota Pickup. It’s a rear-wheel-drive, 5-speed, carbureted (22R) mini truck. And I love it. I rebuild the motor (head gasket let loose) and installed a new carburetor, intake and exhaust. It’s been a fun project to learn some additional wrenching skills (timing light, anyone?) and a perfect kick-around-town truck.
